AN ASSESSTMENT OF THE COMBINED IMPACT OF SOME AMBIENT AIR POLLUTANTS ON THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM OF CHILDREN USING A BINARY THEORY
We analyzed the association of air pollutants (NO2, SO2, particulate matters) with respiratory disease of schoolchildren in 13 areas of 10 Russian townships with the help of so-called ‘binary theory’, with the effects of the most essential confounders eliminated by means of database restriction.
Keywords: binary theory, the type of combined action of toxic substances, database restriction, children respiratory health, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, particulate matters.
