PRODUCTIVITY EVALUATION OF THE SEA OF JAPAN BY SATELLITE DATA

In this paper the basic model of annual chlorophyll “a” concentration dynamics is presented and tested. Remote sensing of water surface illumination and water temperature was used to refine the model. Annual productivity estimates of the Sea of Japan based on the model representation of the chlorophyll “a” concentration are given.
